Born in Montreal, Claude’s childhood could have easily taken a wrong turn had is parents not enrolled him in a local sports complex where at the young age of 10, he is recruited for his gymnastic talents. Ten years later, he becomes the Canadian Champion on the pommel horse and rings and qualifies for the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games. |

Despite being approached to star in numerous film roles, Claude chooses to study cinematographic screenwriting at UQAM, feeling much more at home behind the camera than in front of it. It is for this same reason that he declines offers to star in a Cirque Du Soleil number tailored to his agility and elegant athleticism. His first short film entitled “The pink and the grey” receives the award for “best cinematography” during its sole public showing (writer - director).
